Drinking alcohol is a normal part of daily life for people in most countries. Sipping wine with dinner, toasting champagne at a wedding, and sharing a beer with some friends can be positive ways to use alcohol. In fact, alcohol is okay as long as you are being responsible when using it.

You hear from victims as well as offenders to get a picture of the full affect DUI has on individuals, families, communities and society at large.
Such a class may help encourage you take your drinking more seriously including cutting back on the amount of alcohol you consume or being so careful to drink responsibly.

How an Alcohol Awareness Class Helped Me
When I was younger, I started to drink quite a bit. My drinking really picked up in college, and I blacked out regularly. I thought it was cool, to not be able to remember an entire evening. Then I started to get in trouble because of my drinking. I was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI), which I didn't think was so cool, and wound up losing a job I really liked because of my drinking. My girlfriend dumped me and told me I was a loser.
My drinking began spiraling out of control and I got my third DUI. Not only did I lose my license for a year, but I had to take an alcohol awareness class.
At the time I was in survival mode, just trying to get through the day so to speak but honestly, I really learned a lot. I reminded me of my Dad who was an alcoholic and whose life was empty. I decided I didn't want to be a drunk and that I would stop drinking entirely.
It has taken a lot of endurance and strength to change by behaviors, but I have been clean for almost a year now, and I am much happier and life feels better.

My Class Was Quick and Easy
I had to complete an alcohol awareness class in order to start a new job. I was excited about this position at the hospital helping people who suffer from substance abuse. However, when I was hired for the job, I was unprepared for the number requirements I had to go through before I was actually able to start work.
One of the requirements was to complete a 24 hour online alcohol class. I was instructed to find the class on my own, complete it, then review it. I turned to the Internet and found several sites that offered such classes. Some of the sites looked pretty cheesy so I found a site that had good information and looked professional. Even though the class cost more, I felt it was superior to the less expensive classes. I actually learned a lot and will recommend this class to my patients.
In fact, after my review of the class and my suggestion to use it for educational purposes, my new boss already complimented me on my initiative and good ideas.

I Can Take My Courses Online
I plan to take an alcohol awareness class in order to fulfill it for my employment purposes. I figured that I would do the courses online because that is really the most convenient and cost effective way to satisfy this requirement.
I understand that the sooner I complete it, the sooner I can regain my position at my job, so there is no reason for me to delay. I am very happy that I won't have to drive to a class that could take several weeks. The online course will also send a certificate of completion immediately upon finishing so I can return to work as quickly as possible.
While my immediate need is to get back to work, I've also decided to take this course as the next step towards a better life. I've been going down an unhealthy path that in all honesty, does not feel good. The online class feels like a good place to start.

Make Money Faster by Taking an Alcohol Awareness Class
How, you might ask, does learning about alcohol, drugs and addiction possibly turn into a way to make yourself money? Seems more like a waste of time, doesn't it?
Well the truth of the matter is that if you have a problem with alcohol and drugs, you are probably spending a lot of time with those activities (being high, drunk or hungover) than you are trying to better yourself. The great thing about a drug and alcohol awareness class is that you will learn about the harmful effects that drugs and alcohol have on your body (including the brain). You will also be given techniques to stop drinking and using drugs.
Once you have shrugged the drug and alcohol demon off your back you are free to focus on what you really want to do. Not only will you save money that is not being spent on alcohol and drugs, but you will open yourself to your true goals and ambitions. That is your personal success and the ability to make money for yourself!

A Minor in Possession Class for My Son
When I caught my son smoking a joint in his bedroom, I wasn't sure what to do. It almost seemed like he wanted to get caught because he didn't even try to hide it very well. I tried to talk with him but he put up walls and was very shut down. I knew if we did not get to the bottom of this right then and there, that it would only lead to more destructive behavior.
I had been reading about a minor in possession class that is usually court ordered when a child is caught by the authorities, but it did not mean that it was only reserved for those kids. I decided to give my son an ultimatum. He could take those classes online and learn about the destructive path he is going down, or he would have to quit the soccer team.
He lives for soccer and agreed to take the class. He came to me and said that he learned a lot, and those walls between us, are slowly coming down.

I Need a MIP Class for My Son
My son was just caught with some beer last night and was charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol. Now, he will have to to to court in a week and whatever else that follows.
I am very disappointed and upset with him. He needs to take a class because he won't listen to me and he is making poor decisions. The school counselor recommended a good online minor in possession class. He believes taking a class will make him "look better" in court, but I am afraid he is trying to manipulate the situation rather than becoming more aware of his behavior.
It is important that my son learns that underage drinking is against the law even if his friends are doing it. Punishing him hasn't done much so now he must face the legal system and he is responsible for all costs associated with this. I did not raise him to break the law.
